Dear Jimmy, Niamh and Nessa, My heartfelt condolences. Nancy's kindness to me and other members of my family who visited the USA is first thing that springs to my mind. However, it was her great way of connecting with people: her intelligence and conversational skills that will remain most in my mind. I will miss all that and am now remembering the very pleasant day I spent in her company early last summer. I am also thinking of the occasional phone conversation that we had – I always felt as if she was right here in the room with me. I am thinking of all of you at this time.
