Obituary of Thomas George Altemus

Thomas George Altemus, age 63, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at home in Paterson, in the presence of his loving wife. Mr. Altemus was born January 9, 1953 in Paterson, the son of the late George and the late Mildred (Zirpoli) Altemus. He was a master mechanic employed by Andon Brush Company in Little Falls for 19 years. Tom was devoted to his work, his employer, Robert Newell and his fellow co-workers. Thomas was the beloved husband of Catherine (Luterzo) Altemus; loving father of Anastacia and Thomas, Jr.; dear brother-in-law of Susan and her husband Neil Bosland, and Patrick and his wife Vivian Luterzo; and devoted uncle of Amanda and Khrystine Bosland, and Joseph and Michael Luterzo. Visiting hours will be Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends are welcome to attend the graveside serivce on Monday, March 14th. at 10:00 a.m. at Laurel Grove Cemetery, 295 Totowa Road, Totowa.
