Obituary of Rose Mae Emolo

Rose Mae (Higgs) Emolo, age 86, died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Lincoln Park Renaissance in Lincoln Park. Mrs. Emolo was born February 17, 1929 in Key West, FL the daughter of the late Earl and the late Naomi (Curry) Higgs. She lived in Lincoln Park and was formerly of Paterson and Wayne. Before retiring, Mrs. Emolo was as a customer service representative employed by Curtain Matheson in Wayne. She especially enjoyed taking care of her family. Mrs. Emolo is survived by her beloved children, Stephen and his wife Josephine Emolo, Gene and his wife Holly Emolo, Rhonda and her husband Bill Morris, Debra and her husband Garret Hoogerhyde; her loving grandchildren, Rob, Stacie, Thomas, Christine, Stephen, Ryan, Michael, Garret, Jason, Nicole, Matthew and John; her cherished great-grandchildren, Samantha, Dylan, Casey, Jackson, Ryder, Finn, Audrey and Luke; and her dear sister Betty and her husband John Cerezo. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas. Visiting hours will be Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 1-5 PM. There will be no services on Monday. Friends are welcome to attend the funeral on Tuesday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Emolo's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001
