Obituary of Louis W. George

Louis W. George, age 68, died Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Care One in Wayne. Mr. George was born April 10, 1947 in Queens, NY the son of the late Louis William and the late Anna (Stroway) George. He lived in Wayne and was formerly of Howard Beach, NY. Louis served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of his local VFW. He was employed by Tyco Security as an Installer for many years before retiring. Mr. George was also an avid fisherman. He is survived by his devoted wife: Mary S. (Pagano) George; his dear sister-in-law, Martha and her husband George Torok, his niece Anna Marie and nephew Michael. Visiting hours will be Monday, January 11, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The U.S. Navy Guard will present honors at 3:30 pm and a Prayer service will be held on Monday evening at 8 pm and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael Lombardo at the funeral home.
