Obituary of Edward Van Wyckhouse

Edward Van Wyckhouse, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Van Wyckhouse was born December 26, 1923 in Wayne, the son of the late John and the late Nettie (Sweetman) Van Wyckhouse. He lived in Wayne for 52 years and was formerly of Paterson. Mr. Van Wyckhouse was employed for 40 years as a machinist at Morrison Machine Co. in Paterson. Ed was also a master builder. Mr. Van Wyckhouse was a member of the Jacksonville Chapel. He is survived by three loving daughters: Lois Altenkirch, Shirley Hartman, Nancy Egan; and five cherished grandsons: Aaron, Jessey, Michael Eddie, Eddie and Timmy. He was predeceased by his wife, Florence (Farren) Van Wyckhouse in 1990. Visiting hours will be Friday, December 4, 2015 from 2 - 4 pm. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Pastor Michael Bethune. Interment will follow in Fair Lawn Memorial Park, Fair Lawn.
