Obituary of Cornelius Peter Van Vlaanderen

Cornelius Peter Van Vlaanderen, age 83, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Van Vlaanderen was born May 25, 1932 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Cornelius and the late Lazelle (Mc Leod) Van Vlaanderen. He lived in North Haledon and was formerly of Wyckoff and Ridgewood. Neil served in the US Army during Korean War. He was retired from Yellowbird Transport, LLC, North Haledon in 2004 where he was the Owner/Operator. Mr. Van Vlaanderen was a member of Calvary Temple, Wayne He is survived by his son: Cornelius Van Vlaanderen, his sister: Judy MacGregor; nieces: Hilary, Nancy and Carol and nephew, Donald. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 10 AM-11 AM. A memorial service will be will be Celebrated by Pastor Dan Kuert on Friday at 11:00 am.
