Obituary of Lillian Berezni

Lillian ''Lynn'' (Michaelis) Berezni, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Lynn grew up on the Lower East Side, graduated from Washington Irving HS in New York, moved to Englewood and Fair Lawn then settled in Packanack Lake. She began her career as a bookkeeper at the Chase Manhattan Bank in New York, and worked at Eastman Kodak in Fair Lawn before retiring from TRW in Fairfield. Lynn was an avid bingo player and loved sports. She enjoyed attending the NY Giants baseball games and once caught a Hall of Famer Johnny Mize home run ball at the Polo Grounds. She is survived by her loving children, Christine and her husband Daniel Bailey, and Mark and his wife Eileen; her cherished granddaughters Anastasia and Isabella and her dear sister Geraldine "Bunny" Fisher. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward, the only love of her life, and her sisters Jeanette, Marilyn and Arlene (Cookie). Visiting on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Rev. Michael McKay. Burial will follow at Fair Lawn Memorial Park.
