Obituary of Elaine Mitchell

Elaine (Hogan) Mitchell, age 79, died Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at home. Mrs. Mitchell was born January 27, 1936 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Frank and the late Mary (Del Monaco) Hogan. She lived in Wayne recently but lived most of her life in Totowa. Before retiring in 2003 she was a word processor employed by the Passaic County Prosecutors Office. Mrs. Mitchell will be most missed for her great love of family and friends. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her beloved sons, Robert Dalzell and his late wife JoAnn, Steve Dalzell and his wife Nancy, Sean Mitchell and his wife Gina, and Todd Mitchell and his wife Sandra; her loving grandchildren, Bobby, Chris, Matt, Joanna, Jack, Alexa, Jenna and Ryan; her cherished great-grandchildren, Brianna and Dylan; and her treasured nephew, Curtis "CJ" Pandorf. She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Mitchell. The memorial Mass will be Monday November 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, 45 Urban Club Rd., Wayne and will be celebrated by Msgr. Peter J. Doody. Private burial will follow.
