Obituary of Rosella C. Jacobsen

Rosella (Blackman) Jacobsen, age 79, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015 after a short illness. Mrs. Jacobsen was born July 6, 1936 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Rose Blackman. Rosella was a homemaker in Wyckoff before moving to Little Egg Harbor. Predeceased by her husband, Donald, in 2010, Rosella is survived by her children, Donald Jr. and his wife Ruthe, Dennis and his wife Tammy, Richard and his wife Dianne, Diane and her husband Steve Tyrrell, Russell and his wife Carol, Robert and his wife Michelle; her cherished grandchildren, Donald III, Ryan, Lauren, Lexi, Corey, Shelby, Kyle, Michael, and Patty; her dear sister Anna May (Walter) Newbury, brother-in-law Eugene Jacobson and his wife Shirley, brother-in-law Barrett (Bernice) Smith, sister-in-law Elaine (Russell) Larson; many nieces and nephews; extended grandchildren and special great-grandchildren, Lexi and Jaycee. She was also predeceased by her sister-in-law Marilyn Gerrity and daughter-in-law Patty Jacobsen. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5-9 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Rev. Michael McKay. Interment will be in Clove Cemetery, Wantage.
