Obituary of Marcia L. Sonko

Marcia L. Sonko, age 66, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Ms. Sonko was born January 18, 1947 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Lee and Irene R. (Polachek) Sonko. She lived in Lincoln Park and was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church. Marcia worked as a sales associate for Sears in Wayne for many years. Marcia is survived by her mother Irene, whom she cared for her entire life. She will be sadly missed by her loving sister Rita Temes and her brother Lee Sonko and his wife Marlene. Great joys in Marcia's life were her nieces and nephews: Wendy and her husband Justin Sabino, Craig and his wife Soraida Temes, Bart Temes, Melissa Sonko, and Lee Sonko, Jr. Marcia was also a loving great-aunt to Alexa, Arianna, Craig Michael, Jenelle, Julia and Tiffany. Marcia will be forever in her family's hearts and deeply missed by everyone. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 216 Comly Rd, Lincoln Park.
