Obituary of Lucille Martha Atwan

Lucille Martha (Muraczewski) Atwan, age 93, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at Hackensack UMC at Pascack Valley, Westwood. Mrs. Atwan was born January 7, 1922 in Garfield, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Martha (Pietracka) Muraczewski. Then she lived in Paterson and moved to Wayne in the 1970's. Mrs. Atwan was an office worker at Lockheed- Martin and after retiring, she was a baker at King's Supermarket in Wayne. Mrs. Atwan was a member of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church. She is survived by her beloved son Richard Atwan; loving grandson, Matthew Atwan; and dear sister Alma E. Muraczewski. She was predeceased by her brothers, Alfred (Bud) Muraczewski and Edwin S. Muraczewski. The funeral service will be on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael Lombardo. Visiting on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Private cremation will follow. Memorial donations in Mrs. Atwan's name may be made to Parkinson Disease I & R Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, One R. W. J. Place, New Brunswick, NJ 08901
