Obituary of Frank "Pappoo" H. Bisceglia

Frank "Pappoo" H. Bisceglia, age 92, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Hospice of New Jersey, Wayne. Mr. Bisceglia was born July 6, 1921 in Paterson, the son of the late John and the late Mary (Papa) Bisceglia. He lived in Wayne and was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service on Parish Drive for over 30 years. He was a US Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Bisceglia loved baseball, to paint and, most of all, his family. He was proud of his Italian heritage and was very well loved by all. Mr. Bisceglia is survived by his loving daughter Elizabeth Gornall; and his cherished granddaughter, Danielle Gornall and her husband Roger Bernhammer. He was predeceased by his wife, Adelaide (Scognamiglio) and his sisters Marianna Papa, Matilda Ulinski and Emma Traymore. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be Tuesday January 14, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, 45 Urban Club Rd., Wayne, celebrated by Msgr. Peter J. Doody. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
