Obituary of Elvera Pfister

Vera (Maron) Pfister, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Chilton Medical Center in Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. Pfister was born in Union City, the daughter of the late Derico and the late Mary (Rossi) Maron. She grew up in Paterson and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Pfister met her husband at the Young Adult Catholic Club of Paterson in 1958 and were married in St. George's R.C. Church in October, 1959. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Pfister is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years Charles Pfister; two devoted sons, Ray and his wife Kim Pfister, and Ken Pfister; and 3 loving grandchildren, Marc, Ryan and Kyle. She was predeceased by her brother, Arthur Maron. Visiting hours will be Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 1-4 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, 630 Valley Rd., Wayne. Entombment will follow in Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905
