Obituary of Florence Tumminello

Florence ''Flo'' (Acquaviva) Tumminello, age 83, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Chilton Medical Center, Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. Tumminello was born August 3, 1931 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Andrew and the late Maria (Minnichini) Acquaviva. She lived in Wayne. She was employed by the Wayne Civic Center and later at Annie Sez both in Wayne. Flo loved to play Bingo and go to Atlantic City. She also loved the NY Mets. Her family was her pride and joy and she was an avid fan of their sporting events. She would frequently be heard ringing her cowbell, cheering them on. She is survived by her loving children: Betty Ann and her husband Raymond Nabba and Edward Tumminello and his wife Elaine; her dear brother, A. Thomas Acquaviva; seven devoted grandchildren, Tracey, Kelly, Randi, Jason, Edward, Nicholas and Justin; and six cherished great-grandchildren, Jimmy, Gianna, Ava, Francesca, Sarah and Joseph. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Raymond in 1984. Visiting hours will be Monday from 10-12 pm. The funeral service will be Monday at 11:30 am will be celebrated by Rev. Roberto Rossi. Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
