Obituary of Richard Centrelli
Richard Centrelli, age 95, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at home in Wayne. Mr. Centrelli was born December 12, 1919 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Richard and the late Mamie (Alessi) Centrelli. Richard was a proud US Army veteran serving during World War II. He served in the Asiatic campaign in the North Pacific on Tinian and Saipan, part of the Mariana Islands. Richard was employed by Poughkeepsie Finishing Company as a foreman before retiring and was a former member of the Textile Forman's Guild.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years: Angela(Moschetto) Centrelli, his loving children ; Diane and her husband Robert Bush and Richard P. and his wife Sheryl Centrelli, his adored grandchildren: Danielle Bush; Kimberly and her husband Kevin Lonsinger, Kristy Centrelli-Fernand and her husband Edward, Lynn Centrelli-McTeague and her husband George, and great-grandchildren; Evan Flaim, Emma and Cole Lonsinger, Isabella and Alexandra Fernand, Ryan and Connor McTeague; also his dear sister: Mae Alpart and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Centrelli.
He was predeceased by his siblings: Ann, Dorothy (Dot), Frank, Matthew, Charles and Samuel.
Visiting will be on Wednesday from 4-7pm.
The funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00 am will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo.
Private Cremation will follow.
