Obituary of Patricia Ann Griffiths

Miss Pat (Hering) Griffiths, age 79, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Maywood Center for Health and Rehab. Miss Pat was born April 3, 1936 in Weehawken, the daughter of the late Frank and the late Helen (Buehl) Hering. She lived in Wayne and was a NYC Rockette before becoming a dance instructor and gymnastic coach at her own school called ACROPATS. Miss Pat was instrumental in getting her students into the Metropolitan Opera for dance auditions. She was a member of Holy Cross RC Church, Wayne. Pat is survived by her two loving daughters, Allyson Abramson and LauriAnn Griffiths; her devoted granddaughters, Crystal Abramson-DeSane and her husband Eddie DeSane, Nina Griffiths and Monica Griffiths; her cherished great-granddaughter, Ava Tomai DeSane, and her dear brothers, Richard and Paul Hering. She was predeceased by her husband Robert F. Griffiths and her son R. Keith Griffiths. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 3-7 p.m. Funeral service on Sunday at 6:00p.m. Private Cremation will follow.
