Obituary of Helen Santoro

Helen (Hughes) Santoro, age 92, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Cedar Crest Village, Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. Santoro was born August 18, 1922 in Drifton, PA the daughter of the late Alvin and the late Cecelia (Johnson) Hughes. She was employed by St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Paterson, NJ as a registered surgical Nurse before retiring and becoming a full time homemaker and mother. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Santoro, M.D. and they resided in Wyckoff, NJ for 50 years. She is survived by her loving children, Jean Bass (Gordon) of Baileys Harbor, WI and Marco Island, FL, Ellen Jakobsen (Stanley) of Pompton Lakes, NJ and Naples, FL, Anthony Santoro (Christina) of Las Vegas, NV, James Santoro (Carol) of Seattle, WA, Lisa Santoro of Ramsey, NJ and Michael Santoro (Laura Garber) of Haddonfield, NJ. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Diane Bock, Tammy Klein, Sara Waldron, Jonathan Reckard and Justin Reckard, M.D. and great-grandchildren, Thomas Bock, Allison Bock, Zachary Klein, Brooklynn Klein, Emma Waldron, Jesse Waldron and Miles Reckard.
