Obituary of Antonio Dragone

Antonio Dragone, age 91, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Dragone was born December 8, 1923 in Montella, the son of the late Carmen and the late Maria (Dello Pizzo) Dragone. He lived in Wayne since 1971. He was employed by Beech Construction Paramus, NJ as a Master Mason before retiring. Mr. Dragone was a member of the Bricklayers & Masons Union Local # 4. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Onorina (DiGenua) Dragone; one son, Frank and his wife Gail; his daughter-in-law, Lisa; two grandsons, Anthony and his wife Angelica, and Brad and his wife Emily; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son David in 2006. Visiting hours will be Friday from 4-8 PM. The funeral Mass will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., and Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum, Totowa.
