Obituary of Alfred Muraczewski

Alfred ''Bud'' Muraczewski, age 90, died Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Chilton Medical Center, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Muraczewski was born August 7, 1924 in Garfield, the son of the late Joseph and the late Martha (Pietracka) Muraczewski. He lived in Wayne and served in the US Navy during World War II. Bud retired from RAF Industries, PA in 1965 where he was a machinist. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. Mr. Muraczewski was a member of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church. Mr. Muraczewski is survived by his beloved sisters: Alma Muraczewski and Lucille Atwan; his loving nephew, Richard Atwan; and his cherished great-nephew, Matthew Atwan. He was predeceased by his brother, Edwin. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson.
