Obituary of Adelmo Simeone

Adelmo Simeone, age 78, died Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Chilton Medical Center, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Simeone was born August 17, 1936 in Galluccio, Italy, the son of the late Ernesto and the late Eleonora (DePetrillo) Simeone. He moved to Jersey City in 1959, and to Pompton Lakes in 1997. He was currently living in Pompton Lakes. Mr. Simeone retired from Butoni Foods Corp, Hackensack, in 1997. He was a pressman there and previously with Zerega Pasta. He also worked for 16 years at Zamarra coat factory. Mr. Simeone is survived by his beloved wife Palma(Marandola) Simeone; three loving daughters: Maria and her husband Pietro Ciotti, Eleonora and her husband Robert Donnelly, and Anna and her husband Frank Natilla; his cherished grandchildren, Palma Ciotti and Adelmo Justin Natilla; his dear sisters, Vincenza Noschese, Maria DeCiccio, Anna Tizzano; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Giuseppe Simeone. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-6 p.m. and Monday from 5-7 p.m. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary R.C. Church, 344 6th Street, Jersey City will be celebrated by Rev. Jerzy Zaslona. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
