Obituary of Angelo Trongone

Angelo Trongone, age 92, died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at home. Mr. Trongone was born March 6, 1921 in Paterson, the son of the late Gaetano and the late Aurelia (Aquino) Trongone. After he was married, he resided in Elmwood Park, Rochelle Park and then Wayne. Mr. Trongone was a plant manager for many years at Wellington Pump in Harrington before retiring. He was also a proud US Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Trongone was an usher at Our Lady of Consolation RC Church; a member of the "Old Guard"; and an avid bowler. Mr. Trongone was predeceased by his wife, Mary Agnes (Maher) and is survived by many nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial Mass will be on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke, Wayne celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo.
