John, Karen and Family Please accept our deepest sympathy in the passing of your Dad. I was in Mexico City on business when I heard about the arrangements for your Dad's viewing and was not able to attend the services and pay my respects. I remember meeting your Dad at your home when we held the picnic following our 7 Year Old Little League All Star game. It is a wonderful memory of our boys. I am sure you have many wonderful memories of your Dad. I am sure you made him proud and I appreciate his service to his country as a Marine...Semper Fi. One of the things I've always remembered about Uncle Bob was the great respect and affection with which he treated my dad as well as the warmth, affection and caring he showed to we children. He always made us feel welcome and at home. I offer this prayer from the Orthodox faith in which Aunt Alice was raised by Plaka: "Among your saints, give rest, O Christ, to the soul of your servant; in a place where there is no sorrow or pain or grieving but only life everlasting."
