Obituary of Doris Cole

Doris Schenack Cole 96, of Wayne, died peacefully on June 27th 2012 at Chilton Memorial Hospital. Born on March 31, 1916 in Union City, Doris lived in East Rutherford for 30 years before settling in Wayne. Retired from Keuffel & Esser Company in Morristown, she also worked as a waitress and hostess at The Coach House Restaurant in North Bergen. Mrs. Cole was the loving daughter of the late Stephen Schenack and the late Alfreda Vetter McCann; beloved mother of Joyce and her husband Robert Rotolo; devoted grandmother of Rene Rotolo, Robin and her husband Vincent Mustacchio, Robert and his wife Cheryl Rotolo, John and his wife Sandra Rotolo, and Jill and her husband Joseph Lindsay; and doting great-grandmother of nine and one "little Bitsa One". Predeceased by her sisters Mabel Schenack and Beverly Mutschler, she was the devoted sister of Richard and his wife Maryanne McCann, and Guy and his wife Susan Koster. Mrs. Schenack is also survived by her loving cousin Elaine and her husband James Liberti; and many dear nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 4:15 p.m. at the funeral home. Visiting on Saturday from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Ave, Ste 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365.
