Obituary of JoAnn Dale

JoAnn (Occhipinti) Dale, age 62, lost her courageous battle with cancer and died peacefully at home with her loved ones around her on Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Mrs. Dale was born January 16, 1950 in Paterson, the daughter of Sam and June (Ketch) Occhipinti. She lived in Haskell. Before retiring in 1981, Mrs. Dale was a postal worker for the Paterson Post Office. She was a member of St. Paul's R.C. Church. Mrs. Dale is survived by her beloved husband John Dale; her devoted children, Kimberly Dale and Kelly Gisonna; her loving parents Sam and June Occhipinti; and her dear sister Diane Clark. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. A memorial Mass will be offered on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Ave, Prospect Park and will be celebrated by Msgr. Edward J. Kurtyka. Cremation was private.
