Obituary of Janet Latona

Janet (Van Der Jagt) Latona, age 75, died suddenly on Sunday, April 29, 2012. Mrs. Latona was born October 24, 1936 in Clifton, the daughter of the late Lourens and the late Jennie (Van Dyk) Van Der Jagt. She lived in Wayne since 1963. She was a project director for T.M.R. Inc. in Parsippany before retiring. Mrs. Latona was a member of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church and its Prayer Shawl Ministry and the Wayne Golden Age Club. Mrs. Latona is survived by her beloved children, Janice and her husband Anthony Moore, Anthony and his wife Connie, Frank and his wife Maribel, and Lourens and his wife Bonnie; her loving grandchildren, April, Frank, Jessica, Lourens, Brielle, and Jonathan; and her dear brother Lawrence Van Der Jagt. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank in 2008. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral Mass will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
