Obituary of Louis John Arabante
Louis John Arabante, age 91, died Friday, March 16, 2012 at Oakland Care Center, Oakland. Mr. Arabante was born June 20, 1920 in New York, NY the son of the late Arturo and the late Maria (Devoto) Arabante. He lived in Wayne and was formerly of Newark and Nutley. He served in the US Army during World War II. Mr. Arabante was employed by PSE&G Co., Kearney, NJ as a Electrical worker for over 30 years retiring in 1981. He was a was a member of Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church and the Golden Key of Wayne.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years: Dora(Rolandelli) Arabante, two daughters: Celeste and her husband Lance Curley and Maria and her husband Glenn Matano five grandchildren; Jaime, Joanna, Christina, Nicole and Peter and 3 great-grandsons; Julien, Aidan And Paul.
Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
The funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 9:30 am at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne and will be Celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
