Obituary of Marie Ferdon

Marie (Sanzabrino) Ferdon, age 87, died peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Regency Gardens Nursing Center, Wayne. Mrs. Ferdon was born August 27, 1924 in Hackensack, NJ, the daughter of the late Frank and the late Mary (Carella) Sanzabrino. She lived in Wayne. She was employed by Sears, Maywood, NJ as a Customer Service Representative before retiring. Previously she was the owner/operator of Marie's Ice Cream Store in Union City. Mrs. Ferdon was a member of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack. She is survived by her niece: Beatrice Langevin, 2 great nieces: Marguerite De Mone and Barbara and her husband Angelo Marabello, 5 great-great nieces & nephews: Christine and her husband Kenny Lyding, Angelo, Jr..and his wife Shannon, Karen and her husband Tony Rodriguez, George and his wife Edna Langevin and Teresa and her husband Tom Main, and 15 great-great-great nieces & nephews: Nicole, Dana, Brittani ,Angelo,III, Isabella, Cassandra, Tiffiany, Sabrina, Angel, Carmella, Tabitha, Lilly Ann, Damion, Gwenyth, and Alexis. She was predeceased by her husband, Matthew. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. The funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack.
