Roses, little floral arrangements made with cut flowers from the garden, afternoon tea/The Guiding Light, cooking & baking together in the early years, nicely set dining tables, board & card games(with snacks of course), Thanksgiving Dinners, Birthday Dinners, Christmas Dinner with a good card game afterwards, pickled beets made from Charlie’s garden harvest, homemade applesauce, a puzzle in progress on the card table, travel & food magazines, most of all a refined “lady” and role model that a young lady could look up to. In fond memory of Es on her birthday, May 21, 2012.
