Obituary of Georganne Ambrose

Georganne Ambrose, age 57, died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at home in Greenwood Lake, NY. Ms. Ambrose was born March 10, 1954 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late James V and the late Elsa (Kirchner) Ambrose. She lived in Greenwood Lake, NY and grew up in Fairfield, NJ. Georganne graduated from West Essex High School and Englewood Hospital School of Nursing. She was a gifted photographer, a voracious reader and a lively conversationalist. Above all, Georganne was a generous and loving sister to Michael and Douglas Ambrose and Jamia DeFinis. She was also the devoted aunt to her five nieces and three nephews. The Memorial Mass will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, 12 Hollywood Avenue, Fairfield and will be celebrated by Fr. Andrew O' Connor. Immediately following, a graveside service will be held at Laurel Grove Cemetery, 295 Totowa Road, Totowa.
