Obituary of Dolores Marie Pelosi

Dolores Marie (Carlini) Pelosi, 80, formerly of Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, in West Melbourne, Florida. Mrs. Pelosi was born September 22, 1931 in Paterson, NJ the youngest daughter of the late Nicholas and the late Florence (Gatti) Carlini. She also resided in New York State, Boca Raton and Boynton Beach, Florida. She was predeceased by her 6 siblings: Louis Carlini, Sr., Maryda Polizzi, Fred Carlini, Armand Carlini, Catherine Donato and Theresa Zangara. Mrs. Pelosi was previously employed as a secretary for the 1810 House Decorating Studio in Wayne, NJ and as an executive secretary for IBM of Fair Lawn, NJ. In addition, she was an active participant and volunteer at St. Mary's R.C. Church in Pompton Lakes where she taught CCD classes. She, along with her husband Sam Pelosi, volunteered and also served on the board of directors for Wayne General Hospital. In addition, she was president of the Woman's Auxiliary and was chairperson and organized the Charity Ball for Wayne General Hospital. Mrs. Pelosi is survived by her beloved husband, Sam Pelosi; her three loving daughters: Denise Ennis and son-in-law William Ennis of Pearland, Texas, Suzanne Tsonos and son-in-law Dean Tsonos of Centreville, Virginia, Rozanne Pelosi-Thompson and son-in-law Jeryl Thompson of Costa Mesa, California; five cherished grandchildren: Sean Ennis and his wife Raquel, Bill Ennis and his wife Shannon; Kerianne Ennis, Alexis Tsonos and Christopher Tsonos; and a family of beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. Visiting on Tuesday, December 27th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home and the Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
