Obituary of Stephen N Hudes

Stephen N. Hudes, age 60, died Sunday, October 2, 2011. Mr. Hudes was born May 20, 1951 in Bronx, NY the son of Murray and the late Marian (Spiegel) Hudes. He attended Herbert H. Lehman College in the Bronx and graduated with a BA in psychology. Mr. Hudes has lived in Wayne since 1979 and was the owner and operator of Sam's Bagel & Deli in Wayne & West Caldwell. Mr. Hudes survived by his beloved wife Susan Hudes; his loving sons of Ryan and Keith; his devoted father Murray Hudes; his dear sisters Eileen Krieg and Carol Miller and brother Jeffery Hudes. The family will receive their friends on Thursday from 2-3:30 p.m. at the funeral home with a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. that will be celebrated by Ruth Ann Disotell. There will be a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mr. Hudes name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905
