To Mark and Doris,
I was extremely saddened to hear about Joey's passing. I tutored Joey when he was about 4 years old and I spent a lot of time in your home (before and after your fire). Your love, patience, and understanding of his special needs was something that I always admired. You were wonderful parents and you went above and beyond the call of duty. I know that Joey held a very special place in your hearts because I could see the light in your eyes when you spoke about him. He was such a special little boy and his smile was contagious! He was truly a gift from God and although you will miss his physical presence, he will never leave your hearts.
