Obituary of James Edmund Pellett

James E. Pellett, age 77, died Monday, September 26, 2011. Mr. Pellett was born June 16, 1934 in Paterson, the son of the late James P. and the late Catherine (Perry) Pellett. He lived in Pompton Lakes and was formerly of Wyckoff. Mr. Pellett served in the US Navy during Korean War. He graduated with a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Roanoke College in Salem, VA. Mr. Pellett was employed by Curtiss Wright in Wood Ridge, NJ; Verizon in the Bronx, NY as a Senior Systems Analyst and by the Barn in Wyckoff, NJ. Mr. Pellett attended St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Paterson. He was a member of the East Arm Rowing Club in Greenwood Lake, the Sheepshead Bay Yacht Club in Brooklyn, NY and the Nereid Boat Club in Rutherford, NJ. Mr. Pellett was the beloved brother of Yvonne Boggio and the late Patricia "Patty" Pellett (2003); and the loving uncle of 4 nephews, 4 great nieces and one great nephew. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Pastor Stephen Rozzelle. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
