Obituary of Audrey Joyce Sayers

Audrey Joyce (Mills) Sayers, age 77, died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital. Mrs. Sayers was born December 22, 1933 in London, England, the daughter of the late Charles E. and the late Lillian Maude (Thornhill) Mills. In 1958 Mrs. Sayers came to the US and lived in Wayne. She was a paralegal for Singer-Kearfott and American Cyanamid, both in Wayne and retired from Cytec Industries in Woodland Park. Mrs. Sayers attended the Jacksonville Chapel. She was an avid craftsperson and artist. Mrs. Sayers is survived by her loving daughters, Beverley and her husband Frank Gaudio, Laurie and her husband Luis Bertrand, and Jane Lee and her husband David Richards; her cherished grandchildren, Meredith, Tabatha, Dana, Caitlin, Ethan, Dean and Sean; her dear sister Christine Colley and brothers, Peter Mills and Brian Mills and many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday September 25th from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. with a memorial service following at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Mrs. Sayers' name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601-5608
