Obituary of Charles Gattuso

Charles Gattuso, age 81, died Saturday, September 10, 2011.Mr. Gattuso was born February 16, 1930 in Jersey City, NJ the son of the late Philip and the late Theresa (Tirrito) Gattuso. Beloved husband of Barbara for 50 years. Devoted father to Charles Gattuso and Philip and his wife Stephanie. Charles retired from his manufacturing business of 25 years where he designed items for some of the large cosmetic companies as well as a myriad of custom items. He enjoyed designing original and inventive tooling and came up with ingenious and efficient ways to produce items. He welcomed the challenge of figuring out the best way to manufacture an item. Family was the focal point of his life.He cherished family gatherings and celebrations. Before his illness, he enjoyed traveling and sightseeing. He loved watching vintage movies and enjoyed music from the 40's - especially appreciating the musical arrangements-but he also appreciated semi classical music as well. Memorial visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Memorial Mass will be Thursday at 10:30am at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr.
