Obituary of John V. Ott

John V. Ott, age 60, died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Ott was born April 8, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Charles T. and the late Mildred R. (Antinore) Ott. He lived in Wayne for over 20 years and was employed by William Paterson University as a Food Service Supervisor. Mr. Ott was a member of the American History Foundation. He was a Civil War history fanatic, a big fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, and a huge dog lover. Mr. Ott was the beloved brother of Charlotte and her husband Paul Nelson, Susan Stagliano and Charles T. Ott, Jr.; dear uncle of Andrew, Christopher, Damon and Blythe; devoted great uncle of Peyton; and loving companion of Andrew LaRussa. The family will receive their friends on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The memorial service will be Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Cremation will be in Cedar Lawn Crematory, Paterson.
