Obituary of Gertrude Sommer

Gertrude "Trudy" (Dompke) Sommer, age 87, died Saturday, July 16, 2011 at home in Wayne. Mrs. Sommer was born March 20, 1924 in North Bergen, NJ the daughter of the late Paul and the late Irene (Laux) Dompke. She lived in Wayne. She was employed by the Hudson Dispatch as a Proofreader and later at the Lakeview nursing home as a kitchen aide for 15 years She is survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Sommer, her nieces, Cheryl Munoz and Robin Fulco and her nephew Roy Colpo.
