Obituary of Vivian Marie Hanratty

Vivian Marie (Belmar) Hanratty, age 96, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Llanfair House, Wayne. Mrs. Hanratty was born June 27, 1914 in Meridan, MS the daughter of the late Morris and the late Winifred (Tezzard) Belmar. She lived in Wayne. She was employed by Paterson News as an artist and later also worked at Church Chronicle in the advertising department before retiring. Mrs. Hanratty was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, Wayne for over 30 years. She was an avid life master bridge player. Mrs. Hanratty is survived by her beloved sons: Richard Hanratty, Barry Hanratty and James Hanratty, her 4 dearest grandchildren and 9 cherished great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, James J. on 10/8/1973 Visiting hours will be Friday from 7-9 PM. The funeral Mass will be Saturday at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne and will be Celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
