Obituary of Margaret Baker

Margaret (Perkins) Baker, age 96, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in Sloatsburg, NY. Mrs. Baker was born January 18, 1915 in Wayne the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Harriet (Schneider) Perkins. She lived in Wayne all of her life. Mrs. Baker retired from F. Schumacher in Midland Park in 1977 where she was a quill winder for 37 years. She had been a member of Preakness Reformed Church since 1929, the Our Lady of Consolation Seniors and the Wayne Grange. Mrs. Baker is survived by her beloved niece Bonnie Oakley; her loving nephews Terry L. Oakley, William B. Oakley and Thomas H. Oakley and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband:Harry Baker. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 3-5 PM. The funeral will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Pastor Eric Nichols. Interment will be in Preakness Reformed Cemetery, Wayne.
