Obituary of Lyda H. Laux

Lyda H. (Holmes) Laux, age 84, died Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Hospice of New Jersey, Wayne. Mrs. Laux was born July 3, 1926 in Wayne, NJ the daughter of the late James and the late Lydia (Weinmann) Holmes. She was employed by Paterson General Hospital as a Registered Nurse and later was a school nurse at the Mountain View school in Wayne. Mrs. Laux was a member of the Hawthorne Gospel Church She is survived by her daughter: Laverne and her husband Dominick DeMercurio and two sons: Edward G., III and his wife Margaret, Dean Alan and his wife Kathy and 6 grandchildren: Leah, Amanda, Kyle, Katelyn, Christopher & David. She was predeceased by her Husband, Edward Grant Laux,Jr. in 2008. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Preakness Reformed Cemetery, Wayne. Memorials may be made to Hospice of New Jersey, 400 Broad Acres Dr., 4th Floor, Bloomfield, NJ 07003
