Obituary of Edward E Flinn

Edward E Flinn, Jr., age 70, died Friday, April 22, 2011 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Flinn was born August 25, 1940 in Jersey City, NJ the son of the late Edward E and the late Helen (Burke) Flinn. He lived in Wayne. He was employed by Bergen County Community College, Paramus as a Professor for 37 years and also taught in the Saddle Brook school disrict. He was a graduate of Montclair State University earning a BA and an MA and later attended Rutgers University Graduate School of Education. Mr. Flinn was a member of the Phi Lambda Pi Fraternity and Our Lady Of The Valley R.C. Church,Wayne. Ed loved spending summers on Long Beach Island and cruising with his wife and buddies. He is survived by his wifeof 46 years: Carol Anne (Zaccone) Flinn, two sons: Edward E.and His Wife Pamela and Greggory J. And His Wife Dana, one sister: Joan Figliosi and four grandchildren, SamanthaLu ,Nicholas Edward ,Connor Matthew & Colton Daniel. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 am at Our Lady Of The Valley R.C. Church, 630 Valley Rd., Wayne. Interment will be in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
