Obituary of Barbara Ann Mac Neal

Barbara Ann (Carlson) Mac Neal, age 65, died Friday, April 8, 2011 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mrs. Mac Neal was born November 20, 1945 in Paterson the daughter of the late Louis and the late Nancy (Savastano) Carlson. She lived in Wanaque and was a 1963 graduate of Lakeland High School. Mrs. MacNeal also earned a BA in Art Education at William Paterson Teacher's College. She taught Art Education at E.G.Hewitt School in Ringwood and at St. Francis School in Haskell. She then became a service representative for Verizon in Newark and was there for many years. Mrs. MacNeal was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Lynn MacNeal who passed away on March 23, 2011 and the loving sister of Marion Andrea Carlson and her husband Frank Schaper and Nancylou and her husband Steve Schiffel. She will also be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews. All arrangements were private. Memorial donations may be made to Bloomingdale Animal Shelter, 23 Brandt Lane, Bloomingdale, NJ 07403-1703
