Obituary of Ann Kolano - Hoogmoed

Ann (Mascari) Kolano-Hoogmoed, age 88, died Thursday, March 3, 2011 in Clearwater, Florida. Mrs. Kolano-Hoogmoed was born September 23, 1922 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Edward and the late Mary Mascari. She was formerly of Elmwood Park, NJ and Palm Harbor, FL. Before retiring, Mrs. Kolano-Hoogmoed was employed as a bookkeeper at Bergenfield Auto Parts. Mrs. Kolano-Hoogmoed was predeceased by her first husband, Edward Kolano and second husband Neal Hoogmoed. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Laura and her husband Joseph Potente, Marilyn and her husband Archie Hourdas, Jo-Ann and her husband Paul Roberts, step-daughters, Nancy Odaci and Joyce Massaro and step-son, Neil and his wife Lori Hoogmoed; her loving siblings, Joseph Mascari, Frank Mascari and Rose Lehr; 11 loving grandchildren and 1 cherished great grandchild. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4-8 PM. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Rev. Dr. Benhardt Fraumann. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice or Alzheimer's Association.
