Obituary of Evelyn J. Pluymers

Evelyn J. Pluymers (nee Teuwen), 90, died on January 24, 2011 at Hunterdon Care Center, Flemington. Born in Paterson, to Louis and Daisy (Davis) Teuwen, Mrs. Pluymers resided in Paterson until moving to Flemington in Sept. 2003. Mrs. Pluymers was a former member of the Union Avenue Baptist Church, Paterson. Mrs. Pluymers was predeceased by her husband, George F. Pluymers and grandson George R. Strauch. Mrs. Pluymers is survived by her sister, Lois Reardon of Middletown, NY. She is also survived by daughters, Carol L. Strauch and her husband, Joseph of Fort McCoy, FL, Georgiann Savelli and her husband, Charles of Flemington, and a son Richard Pluymers and his wife Laura of Bloomingdale. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Joseph Strauch and his wife Gina, Jeffrey and Kimberly Strauch, Robert Stomber and his wife Frances, Kevin Stomber and his wife Donna and Kyle and Jack Pluymers. She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Jacob, Corey, Siera and Shelby Strauch and Jessica, Julia, Alyssa and Hunter Stomber. Visiting hours will be Friday, Jan 28, 2011from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service, Friday at 3:30 pm will be celebrated by Rev. Henry Speidell. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905
