That Sunday, I was hiking near Flip's home. As we came out of the woods we experienced one of the most glorious sunsets that I have ever seen. Painted by the hand of God, I learned the following day how Christa must have contributed to it's beauty. Flip and his family had seen it also and the wonder of everlasting life seems as though it was revealed in some way as the angels poured out their hearts for this soul to be taken away from the family that she loved and brought home to God's arms to look over them from above. Our most sincere condolences to the Felice family from the Langendoen's.

Seldom do you ever come across such a combination of beauty, style, wit, class, intelligience, humor, artistic talent, musical talent, friendliness and humbleness all in one person! Christa had such a(to use her signature word) "fierce" presence that I'm sure anybody who met her, even if only for a few brief moments, would never forget her.
Words are inadequate to express the tremendous shock and sadness I (and all her friends who I've spoken with over the past few days) feel about losing Christa at such a young age. The one thing that does give me some comfort, however, is knowing she appreciated and lived life, in a way that many people who go on to live three times her age never will... I mean, most people will only look their best on special days, but any and every day was special enough for her to put on an amazing outfit and do her hair and makeup as if she were on a runway. And any and every day was special enough for her to have her camera out, documenting all the small and great moments that we now have to remember her by. She noticed everything, as small as a stone in your ring matching the the soles of your shoes (really.) And living in the same house as her my last year in Scranton, with my apartment directly underneath hers, I can sure tell you she also SANG her heart out every day! All my memories of our long conversations, nights in the studio, and of course our nights out on the town are nothing but the best. I'm so glad to have known her.
To her family: My deepest sympathy, and sincerest thanks for raising such an extraordinary person!

I will never be able to watch Clueless again- you will forever be a "supermodel". I have spent the last few days reliving the days of our youth- summers at your dock poseing for pictures and modeling, the lifeguard at Kitchell Lake, Santiago sun bathing (LOL- how awkward!),playing with Luca and Boey, sleepovers for days on end, passing notes, CK1, Pasta Chich.. my all time fav! I have come across photos of us getting ready for the dance with Angela, and a terrific one of you, Donald & myself at graduation- a time that truly feels like yesterday. We may not have talked in quite a while, but i still consider you one of my dearest, longest & truest friends. I was looking forward to seeing you this weekend at our mini-reunion... you will be greatly missed. I know that God has a special place for you in heaven, and that you will watch over all of us left here on earth. My deepest condolences to Mama & Papa Felice & Family... I know that God will grant you the strength to rejoice & celebrate Christa's life. I am here if you need anything at all.

Christa was my painting teacher for the fall semester this year. I came into her classroom eager to learn and it wasn’t shortly after that I knew she could teach me a great deal; she was intelligent, and talented not only through her work, but in the way she taught to all who would listen. She pushed us all to do our very best. And she wanted so much for us to reach our limits and excel them; to become more than just mediocre artists. I respect Christa deeply for what she has taught me, for I have learned only what my paintings after her class could express, and where any words to help explain cease to fit. I’ll never forget her for that. Christa was a brilliant mentor, a sophisticated artist, and most of all a beautiful person. I was lucky to have ever met her.
With a warm hug,
and all my prayers,

My first friend… all the memories of our times together are fresh in my mind as though it was yesterday. You are the most creative and talented person I’ve ever known, and I can’t help feeling overwhelming grief… because I know the world has lost such an amazing soul…and such a cherished friend to so many. I always admired you, and I know it’s terrible to cry for words left unsaid… but I wish I’d told you just how greatly you affected me, how important you were to my life, and how wonderful you were. I would not be who I am, if I’d never met you. Your spirit and energy made my childhood so precious for me… every happy moment was made with you, and I can’t think of anyone else I would have rather spent that time with. I’m so happy to have met you, Christa. My heart goes out to everyone who has been blessed to have known you.
