Obituary of Barbara Hastings

Barbara Hastings, age 64, died Sunday, December 12, 2010 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover. Ms. Hastings was born March 20, 1946 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Frank P. and the late Elizabeth C. (Del Grande). She was a resident of Oak Ridge before moving to Wharton. She was employed by BAE Systems, Wayne as a quality control inspector. Ms. Hastings attended St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church in Oak Ridge. She is survived by her loving brother James and his wife Carol Hastings; her dear nephew James Hastings, Jr., and dearest nieces Denise Farinaro of New Jersey and Fran, Beth and Joy of South Carolina. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Elizabeth and her brother, Frank. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 3-6 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. and will be celebrated by Msgr. John E. Fitzpatrick. Private cremation will be in Laurel Grove Crematory.
