Obituary of William A Saxon
William A Saxon, age 87, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mr. Saxon was born February 20, 1923 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late William and the late Edith (White) Saxon. He lived in Manchester. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He was employed by Parker-Hannifin, Saddlebrook, NJ as a Cylinder Tester. Previously he owned and operated The Park "Saxon"s" Tavern on Market Street in Paterson.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years : Virginia P.Talbot, four sons: Hank and his wife Patricia, William and his wife Karen, George, Clark and his wife Debora, 6 grandchildren: Kara,Kristi,Justin,Jeffrey,Brandon & Jessica and 3 Great grandchildren: Ella, Matthew and William.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 am and will be Celebrated by Fr. John Donnelly. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
