Obituary of Jerjen David Faber

Jerjen David Faber, age 84, died Saturday, June 19, 2010 at home in Glen Rock. Mr. Faber was born January 14, 1926 in Glen Rock, NJ the son of the late David and the late Hannah (Stutt) Faber. He was a lifelong resident of Glen Rock. He was retired from Faber & Son Co. Glen Rock in 1976 where he was the Owner/Operator. Mr. Faber was a member of Glen Rock Fire Department from 1954-1961. Mr. Faber was a quiet, friendly and gentle man who will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife: Loretta (Dugan) Hickerson - Faber , one daughter: Mary and her husband Robert Mc Gillick, two sons: Lawrence and his wife Phyllis Hickerson and Ron and his wife Judy Hickerson, one sister: Jenny Coombs, 5 grandchildren, Robert ,Renee, Jackie, Patrick, Crystal & Nicole and 4 great-grandchildren, Jaden, Justin, Giovanni & Riley. He was predeceased by his 1st Wife: Viola Hickerson. Visiting hours will be Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:00 am at the funeral home and will be Celebrated by Rev. Michael McKay.
