Obituary of Gilda F. Nargiso

Gilda F. (Donato) Nargiso, age 83, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains. Mrs. Nargiso was born January 22, 1927 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Gennaro and the late Adeline (Biscardi) Donato. She lived in Wayne. She was a homemaker and a former member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes. She is survived by two daughters: Karen and her husband Alfred Solo and Gail Nargiso, one son: David Nargiso, one brother: Anthony Donato, 5 grandchildren; Eric Oakley, Stephanie Solo, Michael, Daniel and Nicholas Nargiso. She was predeceased by her grandson, James Oakley and her husband, Joseph. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m The funeral mass will be Friday at 9:30 am at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes and will be Celebrated by Fr. Kevin Downey. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Butler. Memorials may be made to March of Dimes c/o marchofdimes.com
