Obituary of Carol Hunt

Carol (Vreeland) Hunt, age 72,of Bloomingdale, died Sunday, May 30, 2010 at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Hunt was born November 30, 1937 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Elizabeth (Brady) Vreeland. She was employed by St. Joseph's Hospital, Paterson, NJ as a Dialysis Billing Coordinator for over 25 years before retiring. Mrs. Hunt was a Den Mother for Cub Scout Troop # 84, Paterson and later for Boy Scout Troop # 211, Totowa. She loved to photograph nature and feed the birds. She is survived by her children; Peg and her husband Jim Ameye, Richard and his wife Lisa, Steve and his wife Joanne, Willie and his wife Patti, her Sisters; Bess Koning, MaryAnn Dowling, Jane Salmanowitz, Arthea Gill and Linda Jansen and her grandchildren, Cameron, Meghan, Brandon and Erin. She was predeceased by her son, Jim and her companion, Al Liberty. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 10-11:15 am . A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 12:00 noon at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes and will be Celebrated by Fr. Kevin Downey. Private Cremation then burial will follow.
